The night breeds anger and fear.
The darkness overtakes the light inside to
show a true side that often hides from the warm embrace of the sun.
We are told to be scared of the dark, to turn on a light,
to hide from darkness. The easiest thing to hide in.
But joy,
Joy comes in the morning. The new light brings
us out of the shadows to start the new day.
The morning light fills the light inside to fight the darkness, the night.
In the style of Joy Harjo’s “Running”
Dude, that’s actually really good! I am entertained!
