I, too, am a man

I am the one they look down on

They send me to conversion camp to become a “Real Man”

But I fight back, And I’ll be more confident, And strong

Tomorrow, I’ll be at the preacher’s house when bible study comes

Nobody dares say to me,” fag” then

Besides, they’ll see how much of a “ Real Man” I am

And be grateful that I spoke my truth

I, too, am a man
