In the article, “There’s a Problem With Dress Codes – Poem” (Celial) I learned it’s not okay to have to limit what we wear and not feel comfortable because of others. This horrible situation has been caused by the fact that people don’t know how to control themselves and when I mean people I mean boys. This has been possible for a while. I understand not to show a lot of skin but sometimes it can be exaggerated . Some examples to illustrate their situation are when us girls wear tank tops or ripped jeans .
I think what is happening about the dress code is not fair. It’s not fair for girls to not be able to wear certain clothes while boys can. If they are gonna enforce the dress code it should be the same for both. The photograph I chose shoes to demonstrate dress code.
Do you think the dress code applied equally to both genders?
Dear Eliana:
I am amazed by your post, “Is Dress Code Fair?” as, it’s hard to understand why girls have more of a limit to dress.
the paragraph really made me impressed as you talk about how mistreated girls get when it comes to the dress code. why do girls gotta cover up more when girls wear Tanktops, crop tops, or even ripped jeans when guys can wear the exact same thing and it doesn’t get reported, it really comes off as a stupid excuse for girls being restricted to wearing what the school wants as guys can wear whatever they want.
this gets me to believe girls get judged too much rather than guys do.

Dear Eliana:
I am impressed by your post, “Is Dress Code Fair?” because it is amusing how society treats us, girls. Telling us what to wear and what not to.
One sentence you wrote that stands out for me is: “It’s not fair for girls to not be able to wear certain clothes while boys can.” I think this is very wrong for people to have this point of view. They always judge girls and not boys because of out attire.
Thanks for your writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next, because I like opinion and I like that you stand up for what you believe in.
