In the article ¨calling all teens truckers¨ (McGraw) I learned that the government is hoping that the teens can fix the supply chain. This is an interesting situation because they are in need of truckers. They are allowing 18 years old moving cargo across that state. Some examples that they mentioned are that young as allowing them to move cargo across states the legal age for truckers who drive across state lines is currently 21.
This is an interesting topic because cities are worried that teens can be facing a higher risk of accidents. Others have said that they are in need of supplies so they are training them to make sure they don’t get in accidents. I think it would be a good experience for those people who are interested.
What do you think about this situation?
