This stood out to me because the way fonny said “ “Want to get married,” confused me and I’m pretty sure others might think the same way as i did. I was also wondering if Tish understood what he was trying to say. However both Tish’s mother and father agreed to let Tish marry Fonny so maybe he wasn’t scaractic and rude the whole time, because we all know that he truly loves her
