I remember the first lockdown and how the “two-week break” quickly turned into months and then a year.
I remember being gone from the last day of in-person school and the toilet paper being sold out quick as hotcakes, and people stocking up on food.
I remember the heat that made you want to stay inside.
I remember how my mask made me itch from the heat.
I remember getting new games and redecorating to pass the time.
I remember not being able to trick or treat.
I remember having a movie night with my aunts and my little cousin dancing and being her goofy self. 
I remember my grandma making pernil to celebrate my great grandpa’s birthday.
I remember celebrating Christmas at home with my family and my little cousin getting a new bike.
I remember eating pernil again and regretting I didn’t have more.
I remember playing Minecraft with my friends and having fun.
I remember bonding with my mom and her getting macarons for us.
