I am from Basketball,
From homemade cookies and hondas,
I am from the big, old-but new house,
I am from apple trees,
Nostalgia from the apples dangling from above,
I’m from Christmas and hard work,
Ivan and Marina,
From cheeseboard and the Marvel universe,
I’m from the loving family and sports,
From Atheism and Halloween,
I am from Berkeley, And pancit,
From the man who went straight for a bat and trapped it in a bag,
From the woman who has run 16 marathons
From the proud hallway on the second floor with
achievements dangling off of the wall,

In this assignment, we were asked to speak of things that reminds us of home or that we love dearly. For my poem, I wrote many meaningful stories. As Well as important things in my life. I enjoyed this assignment because I got to talk about My family and things I love.As Well as things that have become our lifestyles, such as cheese board or the Marvel Universe. When other people read this poem I hope that they can relate while enjoying it. I think this is important because many forget their childhood but I hope never to forget.
