view of Earth and satellite

This article argues that humanity’s ventures to space and use of space technology have resulted in a greatly improved understanding of Earth’s climate. Due to their ability to collect precise environmental data, it mentions how satellites have been essential to understanding the causes of global warming. The threat of climate change has been constantly studied and is known to be imminent. NASA’s Nimbus III was the first spacecraft to gather oceanographic and atmospheric data, such as the amount of ultraviolet radiation absorbed by the ozone layer. The Biden Administration announced the Earth System Observatory, which is important because this system could be essential to effectively address climate change.

In the past, space technology has been utilized to study the environment by collecting oceanographic and atmospheric data. Spacecraft such as NASA’s Nimbus III have been instrumental in humanity’s discovery and understanding of climate change. Due to space technology, we have a better understanding of the causes of global warming and are preparing to address climate change with the Earth System Observatory. In conclusion, this article supports the idea that space research has resulted in a positive impact on humanity’s understanding of climate change through the collection of environmental data by satellites.
