Have you ever wonder where chlamydia came from? When in the article “Chlamydia – CDC Basic Fact Sheet”

chlamydia affects people of all ages but is most common in young women.

Many who have chlamydia don’t develop symptoms, but they can still infect others through sexual contact. Symptoms may include genital pain and discharge from the vagina or penis.

Antibiotic therapy for the affected patient and the patient’s sexual partners is recommended. I found this interesting because when I first found out about the disease I wanted to read up on it. My friend had the disease and I really wanted to help her. This impact her whole life because people looked at her differently and i wanted to change that.
