Gun Violence is the second leading cause of death in America for children, teens, and adults behind motor vehicles. Nearly 17,00 children and teens die by gun homicide every year. For kids under the age of 13 normally gun homicides normally happen in their house involving family. Black children and teens are fourteen times more likely to die by gun homicide than white children. And Women in the U.S. are 21 times more likely to be killed with a gun than in other countries.
