In the article, “Gun Rights” by Congressman Doug Lamborn, I learned about ways that people who support gun rights are able to defend themselves against those who would want to change laws revolving around guns to make them stricter. This can be a good thing for them because if that is what they believe in and have interest in they should be able to back it up with their own rights. Some examples to show how they defend their situation are fighting against different kinds of acts that are set in place and trying to repeal the law
I think what they are doing with the gun rights is okay. To be able to exercise their 2nd amendment right should not be a problem. I could see why there may be other laws set in place to make sure of curtain things, but to come down to the simple things like self defense or even hunting shouldn’t be a problem if handled by professional.
As i continue to learn about gun rights and gun violence, i want to learn about different kinds of situation gun right activist have been put in to defend themselves.
