Dear Polar Bear
You are big, cute and snow white.
They say your ice will melt,
They say your land will disappear,
They say you will die.
They say the water is rising like a spaceship leaving the atmosphere
You are big like a truck, You are white like fresh snow,
You are strong like a tractor, you are fast like a car.
Dear Polar Bear
no one is going to let you go extinct
Dear polar Bear
no one is going to let you and your family die.
No one is going to kill you
No one is going to destroy your home
No one is going to take your food
No one is going to kill you for warmth
No one is going to make you starve.
We are going to stop burning fossil fuels
we are going to stop destroying your homes
We are going to cut down are carbon emissions
We will help you not only survive but thrive and
enjoy life.
In this assignment, we were asked to find an animal and write a poem about the animal and what it is going through and how we can help it. For my poem, I wrote about Polar Bears and what they are going through right now and different ways we can help them survive and live a happy life. When other people read this poem, I hope they start thinking about little ways to save the polar bears.
