In the article, “England Relaxes COVID Restrictions” (BTW) I learned that the Minister Boris Johnson has been facing a lot of criticism from his city lately. Members of his own party are not happy with the movies he’s been taking because he has been removing COVID restriction and returning to normal life. Other parts of the government are angry with his actions due to having big parties in 2020 when Cvid was on the rise. While the rest of the country was really cooperating with the rules (isolating). It also stated that Englanf will no longer recommend wearing masks and could work from home. There were a lot of venues and big events that we’re not requiring your COVID test results nor your COVID passport. Lastly, even if you tested positive for COVID-19 it was up to you if you wanted to be tossed-quarantine or wear a mask.
I think that the government should have all the right to be angry because that wasn’t a smart move from Johnson. For instance, it was very inappropriate to host big parties. England was totally wrong for seeing numbers decrease and not recommending people wear their mask. I feel they should be following all of the protocols because we are still in a pandemic which caused a lot of people to die from this virus. I think everyone in the world right now should be doing the best to protect themselves and family members.
