Alcohol is a substance that reduces the function of the brain, thinking, and making reasonable decisions. All these abilities are essential to operating a vehicle safely and if this ability is taken away it can have risks. Drinking and driving are hazardous to do, every day about 32 people in the U.S. die in drunk-driving crashes. I feel like not that many people take it seriously because it keeps on happening and rapidly. About 30% of traffic crash fatalities in the U.S. are due to drinking and driving. On average over the 10-year period from 2011-2022, about 10,500 people died every year from it.How do you think we might reduce accidents from alcohol abuse?
People need to take this more seriously because it could end up happening to them, it can happen anytime anywhere. People need to see that it affects lots of people and their families and should try having someone who is sober drive. This way it can reduce more accidents like this from happening.
