What problems in your community do you think the local government (mayor, congressperson) should try to solve?

That’s an interesting question. One of the things I need to figure out is how change happens in the different neighborhoods in the Bronx. Brian Lehrer is doing a series each week on West Farms 10460 https://www.wnyc.org/story/west-farms-10460-overview/ and I’m learning from this how difficult it is to change a neighborhood like this. Okay… so I want to get this series up on NowComment. I just realized that there is a transcript. Another question: what does the comptroller do in NYC? Why do people say that role is important? And what does all of this have to do with a neighborhood in the Bronx? Questions upon questions.
