What are some answers to the frequent gun violence we have experienced in this country?

This is such a big question. How can I answer it if the President of the United States and the Congress can’t answer it. One thing I heard recently is that so far this year more illegal guns have been take off the streets of New York City than ever before in a similar time period. And yet, the number gun violence crimes has continued to go up and up. Others point to how gun violence increases when there is an increase in poverty and unemployment and social problems. Right! But those long-term solutions feel so far away. I don’t know, but if I heard one politician with a real plan, I would do anything I could to support her/him/them!
