The best compliment you have ever received and how this makes me feel?

The first thing that came to mind is what people sometimes say about me that I like. It’s mainly that I ground my work with digital discourse in the theory and practice of composition. Ah… yes, I remember an exact moment when — oh, what was her name? I’ll look it up — but she was in a presentation that I did and she said that she had never seen a better update and remixing (not sure of her actual words) of Peter Elbow’s work. But that’ what I mean… It feel “right” when someone recognizes that my current work is based on Elbow’s or Moffett’s or Bruffee’s work. And that I’m bring that “fundamental” work forward into our digital world.
