On the way back to school following a trip, a former football player for the University of Virginia opened fire from the back of the bus, killing 3 current football players and injuring a 4th. As a student named Lynch ducked and covered themself in a coat to hide from the gunman, she watched as her close friend fell face down in the middle of the bus, with a bullet wound in his head. Her recounting of the events have aided officials investigating this crime, as well as provide the public with insight as to the final moments of Lavel, D’sean, and Devin, the three players whose lives were tragically stripped from them.
