Dear fellow oxygen-consuming Penguins
You are feathery
You are a bird that can fly in water
You are noots that are drop-dead gorgeous
They say you’re adamantine ice will liquefy
They say the brobdingnagian ocean will rise
and ingurgitate your terra firma
They say you will drown in the depths of the brobdingnagian ocean
when there’s no terra firma to inhabit
Dear fellow oxygen-consuming Penguins
Don’t “noot noot” in fear
No one will continue to obliterate your terra firma
No one will perish to the ludicrous doings of anthropoids
We are going to aid you
We are going to save you
We are going to protect you

I loved your poem. I didn’t even considering the life-threatening impact climate change has on Penguins? I especially liked our description of the beautiful penguin in line 3. In all seriousness, I am terrified for every creature on this planet. for the next coming decades. It is the biggest issue in human history and it is not getting enough attention. I appreciate your closing statements reassuring the penguins safety but it is sad to think we probably won’t be able to save those sexy penguins. If you are interested in adapting a penguins and knitting him or her a little penguin jumper here is a link for that. https://penguinfoundation.org.au/get-involved/
