You ripped my heart out of my chest, and tossed it around, tore it open and walked away to leave it to die
You chewed it up,spit it up on the floor thrashed it around and left it to rot
I thought I finally found someone to claim my heart and save me from my suffering,
To convince me that there is such thing as love,
That a girl like me who’s been bullied, damaged, rejected, abandoned, and different
Who has ugly scars and done bad things to herself
Deserves to get a guy who’s also been damaged and hurt
Who knows what it felt like

This was a beautiful poem, coming from a person that has been damaged and different, This made a lot of sense to me and I am happy that you found someone that helped you. Keep writing this was amazing 🙂
