In the article, “Should Covid Vaccines Be Mandatory” I learned that about 2 million people have died from Covid-19 worldwide as of mid-January. Which is more than 380,000 people in the United States. The U.S finally approved two covid vaccines in December and have begun to give them to vulnerable health care workers. These vaccines are still being tested and reviewed, and have the potential to end the pandemic. However the vaccines only have the potential to end the pandemic if enough people take them to stop covid-19.
I think this topic is very controversial. This topic can go in two ways: you either believe the covid vaccines should be mandatory or you don’t. I believe that these covid-19 vaccines should not be mandatory until they have officially been reviewed and tested to become good and effective. These vaccines should only be taken by those who are willing to take the vaccine. As long as there are people taking the vaccine we would be able to achieve “herd immunity” without making the vaccine mandatory. There are also many people who cannot take this vaccine because of their medical conditions. Therefore, the covid-19 vaccine should not be mandatory.
Do you think the covid-19 vaccine should be mandatory?
hello litzy, i believe that covid 19 vaccines should not be mandatory due to the fact that we dont know how its going to work and all the risk that we are taking this vaccine. Everything that you said was pretty good because theres many risks taking this vaccine because one reason is that it only lasts 6 months and after that 6 months you got to take the vaccine again over and over. So we dont know if its really good for us or not. Some that stood out to me was when you said that if we get the vaccine one it will stop the spread but really we dont know what the outcome of that is going to be. But thank you for you thoughts about that it should be mandatory but i really dont think so.
Dear Litzy,
your post ” covid vacancies is every interesting because
In my opinion I think that covid vaccines should not be mandatory because a lot of people may think different about it. I also think that when getting the vaccine people may have different kind of effects to it and some may not feel anything.I also think that the vaccine should not be mandatory because its people decisions if they want to be safe or not. Some people may think its not a good idea because they see that other people are getting different effects on the vacince personally me i would not get the vaccine because I think its the same thing as the flu vaccine because usually when i get the flu vaccine i get really sick so i think it would be the same thing that’s why I couldn’t get it.
Thank you for posting this I would love to see more of your posts.

Hello Litzy, I enjoyed reading through the stats of cases and how you expressed the two different sides of the type of stance on the situation of COVID-19 vaccines. It’s also interesting reading your thoughts on the situation, I think the answer to this is somewhat subjective depending on the person something that intrigued me from your post was: “Do you think the COVID-19 vaccine should be mandatory?” Regarding your question, do I think that we should track down people and inject them forcibly? No. Should I agree that individuals should be allowed to have access to certain facilities (hospital work, public schools, etc.) unless they have a valid medical excuse not to do so? Yeah, of course. Anyways, I enjoyed read the stats and your thoughts on the whole COVID-19 vaccination situation, as well as the question you left off with at the end of your post. I hope to see what other opinions you have.
Yes, I think Covid-19 vaccines should be mandatory due to the fact that they can’t stop the spread. According to your post, it was sort of biased due to the fact you gave your personal thoughts and mutual feelings about the situation. I disagree with you since I believe that when taking the vaccines, grants you immunity to the virus, and you as a person helps stop the spread of the virus.
One sentence that stood out to me was, ” However the vaccines only have the potential to end the pandemic if enough people take them to stop covid-19. ” I like this sentence because you acknowledge that these vaccines do in fact have the potential to end the pandemic, so why not make it mandatory. I believe the vaccines have the potential and will stop the spread of the virus.
Thank you for your personal thoughts upon the vaccine, but overall it should be because slowing the spread is essential to go back to normal life.
