Frontline.

In the article, the L.A. county is facing a full-blown coronavirus surge as cases double, deaths rise (Upfront, Luke, 2022), I learned that Los Angeles county has appeared in the midst of another full-blown coronavirus surge, with cases doubling since thanksgiving. After reading I learned that many people struggled with covid-19 also that the number of coronavirus-positive patients being cared for in hospitals sparked concerns about renewed stress on the region’s healthcare systems. L.A. Country reported an average of 3,829 coronavirus cases a day over the seven-day period ending Tuesday, up from 2,301 the prior week.

Although looking at this information there have been many cases of covid-19 and it has caused many negative effects on society and how bad it has been toward hospitals the second percentage of staffed hospital beds are occupied by coronavirus patients.

With that many cases still happening now what are they planning on doing? more medication? or having to wear a mask everywhere?
