In this post, I’m showing some of the steps I’m taking to use AI to write an article about climate change.

Climate Change paragraph from my article

Climate change is a long term shift in temperature and weather patterns, as defined by the UN Climate Change is caused by the emission of greenhouse gasses such as carbon dioxide from various sources, such as burning fossil fuels, such as oil and gas. Climate change will cause many environmental catastrophes such as: horrible droughts, raging wildfires, and increasing sea levels, which will sink our man-made cities. These effects are very likely to one day affect us all, making it even more important than ever to reduce our emissions of greenhouse gasses. One way we can do this is by using green energy, which does not produce greenhouse gasses, instead of burning fossil fuels, which do produce them.

Using Revising 18: Turn my title into a Come-Read-Me Headline

I got the title “Uncovering the Causes of Climate Change: Human Activity at Play” from “What Climate Change is caused by Paragraph”

Using Revising 8: Discussion Post Introduction

I changed my paragraph to:

“As the United Nations defines, Climate Change is a long-term shift in temperature and weather patterns caused by the emission of greenhouse gasses, like carbon dioxide, from sources like burning fossil fuels like oil and gas. With Climate Change, come various signs of environmental catastrophe such as devastating droughts, immense wildfires, and the expanse of oceans which threaten our cities with flooding. To ameliorate the effects of Climate Change, it is necessary that all of us reduce our greenhouse gas emissions by transitioning to green energy and phasing out the pumping of fossil fuels.”

Using Revising 17: Grammar, Punctuation, and Paraphraphing

The AI revised it to:

“Climate change is a long-term shift in temperature and weather patterns, as defined by the United Nations. It is caused by the emission of greenhouse gases, such as carbon dioxide, from various sources, such as burning fossil fuels like oil and gas.

Climate change will cause many environmental catastrophes, such as horrible droughts, raging wildfires, and increasing sea levels, which will sink our man-made cities. These effects are very likely to one day affect us all, making it even more important than ever to reduce our emissions of greenhouse gases.

One way we can do this is by using green energy, which does not produce greenhouse gases, instead of burning fossil fuels, which do produce them.”

Using Revising 17, then Revising 6: Headings to Organize Your Discussion Post:

This is an important step towards curbing climate change, and reducing its devastating effects.

1. Definition of Climate Change

2. Effects of Climate Change

3. Causes of Climate Change

4. Solutions to Reduce Greenhouse Gas Emissions

5. Benefits of Green Energy to Combat Climate Change
