The article “Cars That Stop Drunk Driving?” in BTW, talks about Biden releasing a statement for automakers to release a vehicle that can prevent drunk people from driving. With this in mind, Biden had funded them to help make fewer people D.U.I for everyone’s safety and to make everything generally better. Congress and Biden have pitched ideas for how it would detect people that were under the influence but they had stated to do as they please as long as the car gets the information it needs to let the person drive or not. They used breathalizers as an example of how the cars may check if the driver is under the influence of anything. They also talk about how certain car companies will install infrared cameras to detect your movement and how you are all together.

My reaction to what Biden is funding is phenomenal. I believe this is something we should concentrate on a little more because of how severe D.U.I’s are. Drunk drivers are one of the top three reasons why car accidents occur. With car companies focusing on a way to prevent this it will lower the percentage of drunk drivers by a lot. I also believe it should be available to the public with no extra cost but be funded by the government so they may take care of their citizens.

How expensive will it be to afford such a car with technology to test your alcohol intake level? How will it determine if you may drive or not? Is there a certain amount you can intake before driving? Does that change for each state or is there a base level for the amount of alcohol consumed? If it is changed how will it change automatically going across state lines with different alcohol consumption laws?

I believe that this would be a good thing to add to future cars. This would help prevent many of the accidents caused by drunk drivers or drivers under the influence. I believe that many people would go against it as many participate in driving under the influence. I also believe it would have to be implemented into older cars as people would just buy the ones that don’t have this system, but overall it would reduce a lot of deaths and accidents caused by this

dear joshua

Am I impressed by your post that it is their cars that stop drunk driving? poster. From my point of view, I think it can help a lot, but it doesn’t really matter, you don’t have to drive whether you’re drinking or not, it’s a big responsibility.A sentence that I liked that you put was that of drunk drivers are one of the top three reasons why car accidents occur because drunk people believe they can drive and only cause problems not only for themselves but also for others who had nothing to do with it,I really appreciate your post it’s very good

Dear Joshua,

I am impressed by your post, “Cars That Stop Drunk Driving?” because you mention how manufacturers are going to sell vehicles with breathalyzers. This will be used to stop drunk driving. They will require you to test on the breathalyzer before you can turn it on. Also, it will have some sort of camera that will track your movements.

One sentence you wrote that stands out for me is: “They used breathalizers as an example of how the cars may check if the driver is under the influence of anything. They also talk about how certain car companies will install infrared cameras to detect your movement and how you are all together.” I think that they did not fully think this through because how would they enforce this and make sure people are doing it correctly? Someone who is sober can just breathe in it and turn it on.

Thanks for your amazing writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next because your topic was interesting as well as your choice of words!

Dear Joshua:

I am interested in what you posted about, “Cars That Stop Drunk Driving?” as if the world can’t get any better and so advanced in technology. but it is such an interesting thought on how expensive it will be to manufacture these cars and what kind of fancy price tag they will slap on these cars. will it be only accessible to the rich? I only hope not.

one sentence from your post that stood out to me was “They used breathalizers as an example of how the cars may check if the driver is under the influence of anything. They also talk about how certain car companies will install infrared cameras to detect your movement and how you are all together.” I think this statement is far-fetched because what if the car will detect your movements wrong? how will the vehicle exactly test you like a breathalyzer? though it may be a good idea with good intentions, but i think in my own opinion they did not fully think this idea out since we’re not getting on how all of it exactly works.

thank you for writing. I look forward to what you write next because I like how creative your post can get.
