Voice recording:

IMG_5301

  1. I chose the play Othello to record my own voice for. I chose Act 3 Scene 4, lines 110-120.
  1. I played Desdemona.

  2. I learned that tone is very important when reading plays such as        Shakespeare, because it is really important to convey just how the character is feeling using your own voice. It is also important to use volume and pacing in order to portray how serious the content being said by the character is.

  3. Desdemona is a very passionate character, and she can be aggressive and persistent at times. I learned that she truly does carry all types of emotions, and she isn’t afraid to let them show.
