Joe Biden was supposed to take over on January 20, which he did, but then he had to start taking charge of all the situations that were happening in the country. One of the situations is Covid19, but the reality is that many people still do not believe it and some people are still not recovering from the fact that Trump lost. “We must come together to heal the soul of this country so that we can deal effectively with this crisis as a nation,” Biden’s words stated that his will to help the country in any way possible remains intact. But, Biden is just a man with a lot of responsibilities to fulfill, which is why he also expects citizens to do their part. Biden has promised to “do whatever it takes” to end this pandemic and possibly stay safe, but make sure everyone is also safe and taking care of each other.
Biden showed the country that he was a man of few words (for now), he did his best to keep the country safe and healthy. One of the reasons I say “right now” is that every president is trying to convince his people to trust him and believe him. It’s great to earn someone’s trust, but it’s also important to normalize the delivery of their promises, not just trying to market themselves and when they are qualified to do something different. Much of the work Biden has done, however, says a lot about him and his decisions to keep his promises.
Dear Ernesto,
I am very intrigued by your post, ¨Biden´s New Responsibilities¨ because it gives more insight as to what Joe Biden has to deal with on a constant basis. I think this is important because not many people take into consideration what a president must do in order to keep a country in control.
One sentence you wrote that stands out for me is: “Covid-19, but the reality is that many people still do not believe it and some people are still not recovering from the fact that Trump lost.” I think this is important because Biden entered the presidency during a worldwide pandemic and most Americans are still in disbelief that Donald Trump was not reelected.
Thanks for your writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next because I find it interesting to hear what else President Biden will do so in the future.
Forgot my question? How do you think he is doing as of right now (Good or not so well, why)
