In the article “Latest wave of migrants at US-Mexico border puts Biden under renewed pressure” by Priscilla Alvarez, I learned that Biden has been under pressure as the borders have become worse. Biden has made it so that more immigrants are able to get across legally. Since then there have been hundreds of thousands of migrants crossing over daily. In October of 2018, there were around 400k valanzuelans that crossed in a month.
I think that it shouldn’t be as hard to get across as the border should be tight but not impossible to get through. The government should make it so that some people can get across as some people are in search of a better opportunity, but as I said it shouldn’t be open to all as there are people who come with bad thoughts and have crimes in mind.
I wonder how President Joe Biden will handle his as his term is coming to an end.
