In the article “ U.S. Detention of Child Migrants” ( March 27 2023) I learned that they are different stages to when kids are arriving at the Border and what they can gain by being here and how this doesn’t just happen here but in other countries. For example when children are detained in the immigration system they are given an asylum which is a protection granted by the U.S nation to leave the native come to there country at least for a year. As well as that throughout this processes they are given food, water, and emergency medical serves and depending on their case it can depend into were facility they go into since they can be accompanied children or unaccompanied children. Which incases like this it happens within other countries many children are still displaced but still give the children there rights as a child unlike the U.S.

Which I believe that despite the children having the option to either go back to their country/ family or to stay here with the slim chance of getting a  asylum they should still be able to speak among from being separated from their families and instead kept together since other countries follow that policy and urgency to not keep them separated inorder to avoid anymore displacement.

As I continue to learn about border issues i come to discover that this is all based on the organization that each president makes and it’s facility. So, as I continue to do more research my goal is to look into what changes can be done to provide more proper care for both the children and the families and what can they do to proof that they can stay here?
