In the article, “A Vaccine for Alzheimer’s?” (BTW) I learned that there is an upcoming vaccine for Alzheimer’s which could possibly prevent or slow the progression of the disease. Alzheimer’s is a disease that kills more than 120,000 Americans every year, and it is affecting about 6 million Americans at this moment. The key ingredient in this vaccine is Protollin, which allows the immune system to produce extra white blood cells, in order to help clear up the buildup in the brain that causes memory problems. The initial trial will involve sixteen patients and will take about six months. Once researches figure out the right amount of dosage, the trials will become bigger with more patients.
If this vaccine works, would you approve of yourself or family members getting it?I think that if this vaccine works it would honestly be such an amazing accomplishment. Alzheimer’s is a disease which is increasing and affecting the lives of many. Having this disease traumatizes many because they are slowly losing their memory and forgetting how to do things for themselves. Personally, I know individuals who are being affected and it would be an amazing thing forgot only them but for their family members as well, so that they would all get to spend time together without worrying about what is going to happen to that person or who is going to care for them.
Dear Natalie:
Your post “Alzheimer’s Vaccine in the Works” is very interesting because I heard of the disease, but never understand the magnitude of the people it affects. The thought of memory loss is very scary. Forgetting things on a constant basis feels like it would be a pain.
One sentence you wrote that stands out for me is: “Having this disease traumatizes many” I think this is frightening because through memory we remember our best moments, the people we love, and most importantly ourselves.
Thanks for your writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next because the topics you choose are very interesting. I hope to hear from you soon.

Dear Natalie,
I am intrigued by the fact that you bring up the topic of alzheimer’s because I know it affects a lot of people. the cause of alzheimer’s could be genetics i suggest the people who are prone to get get the vaccine because what if it might prevent it. There are many struggles when it comes to alzheimer’s because not a lot of people get the proper help or its too late to get help. If you know someone who is prone to get the disease maybe try to get them help early as well, so they don’t slowly struggle.
I was amazed at the fact that it has killed 120,000 Americans. This means that the disease is almost common for most people. It affects all kinds of families.
Thank you for writing about this topic. I look forward to seeing what you talk about in the future.
Dear Alzheimer’s Vaccine In the Works,
I am surprised by your post, “Alzheimer’s Vaccine In the Works”, because I never thought of a vaccine for this type of disease. I think this vaccine is positive because it will change the way of how Alzheimer’s is handled. This vaccine will help a lot and can change many lives.
One sentence that you wrote that stands out to me that you mentioned was, “Alzheimer’s is a disease that kills more than 120,000 Americans every year, and it is affecting about 6 million Americans at this moment.” This was very crazy to hear that many people died from this disease and how many people till today are struggling with it.
Thank you for writing this little passage. I look forward to seeing what you write next because I would like to hear about updates on this Alzheimer’s vaccine. As well as other vaccines in the works for other diseases.

Dear Natalie,
I am shocked by your post, “Alzheimer’s Vaccine In the Works”, because I never thought about the idea of creating a vaccine for individuals who have this disease. This is a positive topic that should be spread around if they go through with the vaccine. I think this can change many lives.
One sentence that you wrote that stands out to me is that you personally know individuals who struggle with this disease, I can say that I have someone in my life who I know struggles with Alzheimer’s. I can say that I feel connected in a way where I want this vaccine to happen!
Thank you for your writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next because I would like to hear about updates on this vaccine and such.
Dear Natalie,
I am so suprised by the post,¨ “Alzheimer’s Vaccine In the Works” I’ve heard a lot of people I talk to talk about how fast the vaccine for covid came out and why they haven’t found a cure for Alzheimer after so many yearś of working on it. Now that I have come across this post I feel so caught off and up to date with this situation. It amazes me how clear you made it.
I love the fact that you put the key ingredient to how the cure works. Love the detail you put into it without making it sound like too much. Also, love how you put your opinion on the cure in your post.
Thank you for writing this post. I look forward to seeing what you write next.
Dear, Natalie
I am interested in your post, “Alzheimer’s Vaccine In the Works” because it is amazing how there is a vaccine at work that could possibly slow down or prevent Alzheimer’s disease! If this vaccine is successful it could benefit several individuals and families dealing with this disease.
One sentence you wrote that stands out for me is, “Having this disease traumatizes many because they are slowly losing their memory and forgetting how to do things for themselves. ” I think this is heartbreaking especially to the families of patients who are diagnosed with it because they have to deal with stress and being worried all the time for their loved one’s safety. It would be a miracle if this vaccine did work and hopefully, it does!
Thanks for your writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next because I really like how we share the same ideas on this matter.

Dear Natalie,
I am very surprised by your post, Alzheimer’s Vaccine In the Works because this was information that many of us didn’t know, I didn’t know that Alzheimer’s could actually kill people I thought it would just cause memory loss and the people would just die of natural causes. One sentence that you wrote that stands out to me is “Alzheimer’s is a disease that kills more than 120,000 Americans every year”. as stated above this information was very surprising.
Thank you for your writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next because as shown you find very interesting things.

Dear Natalie,
I am amazed by your post, “Alzheimer´s Vaccine in the Works” because I haven’t heard anything about this vaccine. I think that if this vaccine works out it would be a really great thing for people with Alzheimer’s and their families.
One sentence that stands out to me is, “I think that if this vaccine works it would honestly be such an amazing accomplishment. Alzheimer’s is a disease which is increasing and affecting the lives of many. “. I agree with this because I feel like Alzheimer’s has become a more common disease in older people. It would be amazing to see the number of Alzheimer’s cases go down.
Thank you for writing this post. I look forward to seeing what you write next.
Dear Natalie,
I am surprised by your post ¨ Alzheimer´s Vaccine in the Works¨ because I never thought there would be a vaccine for Alzheimer’s. It is impressive how this might actually work and can make families much happier.
One sentence that stands out to me is ¨Having this disease traumatizes many because they are slowly losing their memory and forgetting how to do things for themselves.¨ I know of many cases when those with the disease start to become sad because they know that they are slowly forgetting everything they have ever known. I really hope this vaccine works.
Thanks for your writing I am looking forward to keeping up with news about this new vaccine. I hope many people read this post and find out about the great accomplishment in the process.
This is an incredible discovery. Alzheimer’s is a terrible affliction that affects millions of people and is devastating to the surrounding family and friends. Alzheimer’s is a hard disease to study and many treatments that have proven to treat it are still relatively new. Still, a vaccine for this would be incredible, so let’s hope for the best.
Natalie,
This post meant a lot considering I know a family member that’s struggling with this. It’s good to know that there is a vaccine in the works and hopefully can put a stop the Alzheimer’s. It’s really sad to see people go through this and how the disease is just eating away at their brain. Thank you for the post it was great to read.
I think creating an Alzheimer’s vaccine would be life changing, I just don’t know how realistic it could be. There’s so much unknown with the condition, it’s going to be a long time until scientists develop one. I’ve known people who had dementia, so I understand how important it is for people to get a vaccine for it.
Wow this is fascinating, I was a little surprised at the title but that is awesome, Alzheimers is a big deal and I think this vaccine is a massive success.
It’s would be great if there is a vaccine that can avoid Alzheimer’s, but I am afraid it not gonna be so easy by increasing our white blood cells. I have learned recently that the causation of Alzheimer’s is still a secret to us, perhaps it associates with some coding in our DNA. There is a new technology of gene editing called CRISPR that can edit out the part that causes some natural disease and replace it with a copy of a normal gene to save people from their suffering. Maybe it will apply to Alzheimer’s in the future. https://www.synthego.com/blog/alzheimers-crispr
This is a interesting article. It’s good to see advancements in the medical field to finally discover that Alzheimers is a virus and vaccine is being developed.
Hi Natalie, I think this is really awesome work. I completely agree that a vaccine for Alzheimers could be so life changing and effect people in my own life positively as well. Thanks for sharing this!
