Hi Zania,
I agree that this issue is very important and being taken seriously enough. If something is not done soon, it will eventually be too late. Here is an article about the plastic issue I found interesting.

I liked your topic and I agree with what your saying one-hundred percent. This problem is not taken as seriously as it should. It’s killing sea life and will if it already hasn’t will affect human life. So we need to make a change before it’s to late. I think a tax is necessary, if people won’t recycle they should be taxed maybe not to much but enough for it to be an inconvenience that provokes them not to do it again. Here’s an article i think you would like reading.

I really liked this topic you wrote about because it effects everybody not just one person. I agree with you on your ideas of how to fix these problems and why they are occurring in the first place. I liked your point on how you can’t just ban plastics all together but you need to come up with ways to reuse and reduce the uses in general. Here’s an article I found supporting your views and response to the plastic problem (https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2018/jul/28/our-plastic-footprint-reuse-to-take-the-pressure-off-recycling)
Hello Zania
I really like your argument and personally really agree with you on this topic. I really found it interesting on you idea to start putting a tax or additional charge on plastic products. I had never really thought of that before but I do think that could be a viable solution or at least help for this topic. I think you would like this article below because it also has some point on how to reduce plastic products and why a tax might or might not work.

I completely agree with you on this topic. This is a detrimental problem in todays age that needs immediate reaction. I like your points on placing additional charges on plastic products and reusable items.
