I am Coleman. I live on the East Coast in New York City. I am 14 years old. I go to school in Manhattan. I like to play video games. I was born in late September during 2004. During life, I have not really had a turning point most of my life has been just me going with the flow of things around me. I have lived in NYC my whole life.

I like things that are fun. In school, I work hard in all my classes but I do not enjoy any of it. I do work for the grade, just like most other people. We don’t have a choice. Grades control everybody. But, if the work is creative, or involves discussion, I find myself getting into it. I like to share my opinions especially if it counters someone else’s.

There is a lot of things that I’d rather be doing. I like ice skating. I think it’s cool and fun. I like music, mostly alternative and punk. Billie Eilish is my favorite!!

I have been approached to join a gang multiple times by people in my community. In my community gangs have been a present voice but I never really minded them. I get along with most if not all of them and I have come to accept how they live and I have found very good friends in some of them.

Dear Coleman,
I think you’re so cool, your poem really tells me alot about you and how productive of a person you are.
You seem to spend most your time doing really valuable and important things which is a great thing and you should continue to keeping up your good work. I hope to be just like you one day.
