Tuesday night a catastrophic event happened in in American History. The Reality TV Star and Businessman Donald J. Trump surprisingly won the United States Election for President with 279 electors.

As much as I’d like to say that America will turn out fine, I really can’t say for sure. What America has done is elect a narcissistic, racist, misogynistic, and straight-up sociopathic person to be up on the world stage, with the audience of the world laughing at us.

With all the insults and disrespectful comments he makes to people who are disabled, or even just different than him, how is Trump going to negotiate, not that I think that word is even in his vocabulary, with major world powers like the President of France, or of Mexico.

What if the U.K wants to make a critical strike against a terrorist group, but Trump just goes with his gut feeling and attacks the way he wants?

What if the U.N wants to sign a Climate Change pact and Trump denies it because he believes that climate change was made up by the Chinese?

These are questions that the 21st Century needs to answer, and I don’t believe that President Trump will be able to handle and correctly answer these questions that face America.

Niall,

I think you have brought up some very real and very frightening possible scenarios that our country could face in the future. I, too am worried about the rash decisions that Trump might make. More specifically, the issue of global warming that you brought up scares me while in Trump’s hands. Thank you for calling to attention his inability to logically deal with some of our country’s biggest problems.

I really liked your writing here. Even though I don’t share the negativity of the situation, you do a good job of highlighting the issues that need to change. I myself am an environmentally conscious person, and agree with the Climate Change Pact statement. However, imagine if manufacturing was brought back to the U.S., where it can be regulated and environmental provisions can be enforced. That’s a hard task to do with overseas manufacturing. I don’t think the UK will be making critical strikes anytime soon either. Excellent writing and you are extremely eloquent and capable. The length of the post was fantastic for settling in the point!

Dear Niall;
I am in agreement with your post, “404 Error Explanation Not Found,” because I think the name is witty, and I also agree with what you’re saying. Your statements are accurate.

One sentence you wrote that stands out for me is: “What America has done is elect a narcissistic, racist, misogynistic, and straight-up sociopathic person to be up on the world stage, with the audience of the world laughing at us.” I think this is utterly true because I couldn’t have said it better myself. Your use of vocabulary is also quite impressive.

Another sentence that I agreed with was: “With all the insults and disrespectful comments he makes to people who are disabled, or even just different than him, how is Trump going to negotiate, not that I think that word is even in his vocabulary, with major world powers like the President of France, or of Mexico.” This stood out for me because you’re exactly right. What if we need to make a peace treaty? Can we really handle it?

I do agree with you that Trump can’t handle serious stuff. One reason I say this is because he blusters and bluffs his way through everything. “How are you going to build the wall?” “I’m just gonna.” Another reason I agree with you is because Trump doesn’t take respect seriously. Respect can’t be bought–it has to be earned, and Trump just doesn’t understand that.

Thanks for your writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next, because you wrote exactly what I’ve been thinking. I’ve always considered both sides, and this time, it’s just too harsh to even think about.
Sincerely,
Megan

This is sooooooo true.
Trump is a YUGEEEEEEEE mistake
Dear Niall:

I am in agreement with your title, “404 Error Not Explained,” because I still amazed by how Trump won the presidential election.

One sentence you wrote that stands out for me was about the questions that yiou wrote against Trump. I think this is interesting because you came up with questions that will stop Trump in his tracks.

Another sentence that I admire was how you described Trump in a few words.

I do agree with you that Trump is not a good leader. One reason I say this is because he has no experience i any political office and suddenly he is President! Another reason I agree with you is
because he is a narcissistic, racist, misogynist, straight up sociopath that shouldn’t even be near the Oval Office.

Thanks for your writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next, because you bring up some very interesting points.

omg this is soooo true and i completely agree with you. you know, i have a mental image of our country now: it is precisely sand crumbling thorough my fingers onto the ground being washed away by the water, never to be seen of again.
