Fake News

Recently, fake news has been very talked about the 2016 Trump v.s. Hillary election and even after that. According to an oxford essay,”Fake news is not new, but the American presidential election in 2016 placed the phenomenon squarely onto the international agenda”. Fake news is used to tell people bias news and information. The first step to this is creating a fake news site.

How they create there content is different though. They can either make it themselves or they can use clickbait, according to the article “Where Does Fake News Come From”. They then need to monetize it so that they can make money off of it. They need to advertise it to make the money though. They then need to spread it through social media. Fake news is not good for society.

    I liked this Khristina
I think that fake news in our society has truly messed with the perception of media because a lot of it has been exposed as either false or just plain up fake. I think out society needs to change the way that the media reports and make sure that the things that they are reporting are true and faithful
I think you would like this article about fake news and the history of it.
