I, too, am educated.

I am the brown skin sister.

They think I follow the stereotype

The “ghetto” “ uneducated”

But i don’t

And i won’t

Few years from now

I’ll be at college

When those scholarships come

Nobody’ll dare

Say to me

“You can’t do it”

besides ,

They’ll see how intelligent i am

And be surprised

I too am educated
