I wanted to be down all my life.
Being able to feel that freedom.
Where i don’t need to be told to come home right after school.
I feel trapped at home.

I always wanted to walk around the block,
And maybe sit around instead of being home.
Where all the children hang around.
I just want to feel my age.

Their always having a good time.
Their always doing wonderful things.
My mother tells, i shouldn’t be around kids like them.
She mention i’m better than that.
I have bigger and better things to focus on then wasting time at the park.
She says they are  bad influence, no way she will let me stay around them.
They will end up nowhere in life.

But I’ll be fine, as i grow i’ll understand more.
I would love to have my freedom
But my mother just knows i’m better than who i try to become.
