I am from the noise filled Broadway

Where car horns laughter and sorrow fill the air

Im from the pots and pans and leather seats, from the kitchen where my favorite meals are cooked

I am from the 100

The lingering smells of Marijuana,

Pizza, and sweat from nearby courts in the air

I am from fried foods and vanilla candles

Im from mom and dad

Im from the know it alls

That tend to not know it all

From Turn that down and get out the bathroom

I am from a bible but i am not tied to a religion

From New York, Manhattan

I am from the family fights and warm nights

Under a desk stacks and stacks

Of binders

Flood with pictures

For all these experiences I am forever grateful.
