I remember when saying my name meant something

When a teacher would say my name and i’d jump with excitement

I remember when that meant something

I remember when i meant something

I remember when waking up to goto school didn’t take emotional support

That i’d have to give myself to get off my ass

To be with kids who’d complain about family issues i wish i’d had

A family put together

I remember when i had that

I remember waking up on christmas to rush to a tree i helped my mom set up

A tree my dad picked out

With all my biggest wishes under it

Now all i can do is wait for a dying old man to come home

If i see him again that’ll be something i remember

He’ll probably even forget my name

I don’t remember wanting to come to school

I don’t remember why i use music to cure me of that boring ass bus ride

I listen to the same shit every morning

Life’s never been so boring

I don’t remember why it wasn’t before

I don’t remember wanting to be alone

I don’t remember life being this boring

One thing i’ll remember is the release year

Where my life will finally start to progress , hopefully.
