After watching Crazy Rich Asians and seeing the glorious Singapore
a sudden urge bestowed upon me to go outside
I took my warm popcorn bucket and sat on my front porch with my younger sister and watched the heavy angry clouds go by
and there we quietly greeted the cold wet kisses from the dark sky
and laugh when the sound of thunder boomed
because our hearts jumped and stomachs cringed by the unexpected sound
and then the wind blew causing the cool air to wrap me like a present
cooling me and calming me
