I wrote theses poems because it connects to Romeo and Juliet’s love story. But also my personal life story.

Love Is not all

Love is not all it is not meant nor drink

Nor slumber nor a roof against the rain

Nor yet a floating spear to mean that sink

And rise and sink and rise and sink again

Love can fill the thickened lung with break

Nor clean the blood nor set the fractured bone

Yet many a Woman is making friends with death

Even as I speak for lack of love alone

It well be that in a difficult hour

Pinned down by pain and moaning for release

Or nagged by want past resolution’s power

I might be driven to sell your love for peace

Or trade the memory of this night for happiness

It well may be I do not think I would

This pain

Where no one can see

Is slowly

Killing me

This torture

Where I hide it

Is ripping me apart

Bit by bit

These thoughts

Are hunting me

So dark

It hurts so badly

These scars

Are just marks

From the wonds
