Why I’m lazy as hell?

I’ve been sitting

On this hard ass red chair

In this stuffy ass classroom

For an hour

I have not typed a single thing.

This is why I’m lazy as hell.

Why I’m lazy as hell?

I sat on the scratchy sofa last night

Hungry as fuck

But I couldn’t

Be bothered

To get up and microwave popcorn

That’s why I’m lazy as hell.

Why I’m lazy as hell?

When am asked to do something

I usually put it to the side

And when they asked if i’ve done what they asked

I tell them nahhhh am lazy as hell

And THAT’S why I’m lazy as hell.

This is a very interesting poem. You used some diction that is very strong to express exactly what you feel and I think a lot of people appreciate that. I like how you started with a question and used your poem as the answer. Keep up the great work!

    Dear Octavio
Sometimes I feel the same way as you. I don’t feel like getting up to do hw or to go to school. Your poem is cool. I leaned a lot about you.
