Why I work hard as hell

I work hard;

When I was in middle school

I wanted to follow my cousins steps and do bad

But I saw that he was being treated different by teachers

And I didnt want to be the same.

The teachers would always think he did something bad

When it really wasn’t him,

That’s when I saw that I needed to change my ways

Of how I was acting.

Know I try to work hard for people can see the type of person I am

I change the way I was acting because I didn’t

Want the teachers to treat me like my cousin

I didn’t want people to see me like the kid that behaves bad.

I made the right choice because im doing better in school

Which my cousin got kicked out of school

And If I was acting like him I would probably have been kicked out of school also

I felt tempted to not do my work when I was in class

I would want to leave class or I wouldn’t do work

But when I saw that doing bad things wouldn’t get me anymore

Is when I started to good and make my family proud.
