when the warm summer air
turns to crisp fall wind
the leaves start to descend
from high upon the trees
until the they are bare
the crisp fall wind turns
to a frigid winter gust
as snow starts to fall
burying the land for months until
the frigid winter gust turns to
a fresh spring breeze
flowers resurrected and animals awaken
makes life and joy return to the world
the fresh spring breeze turns to
a warm summer air
bringing freedom and warmth
and countless days of fun until
this cycle commences again

the repetition in your poem is great. it really emphasizes the cyclical nature of earth’s seasons. great job!

Wow, the imagery in this piece is fantastic! I could feel the wind and the warmth in real time with you. I think the cycling of your first phrase into a transitional phrase worked really well and provided a nice rhythm. Good job!

I love this poem and your choice of adjectives that describe the different elements in a season. My favorite line is “flowers resurrected an animals awaken” it makes me thing of a bear breaking out of its den after a “frigid winter”. Great job!!
