When I see this picture I think of Indians who fought and survived to make a better life and their descendants are unhappy about the way a warrior is perceived to the world.  Personally I think that when someone uses a warrior as a mascot they are trying to display traits of a true warrior.  In sports being a warrior is kind of the ideal thought when you think of a player.  Being a warrior means to not give up and always keep fighting.  So i don’t believe it should be protested because it is not meant to mock but to honor what it takes to be a warrior.
