I am from sports equipment, from nike and adidas.

I am from a supportive and loving home; warm and inviting while smelling of something good.

I am from the the geraniums my Mom planted when I was young

I am from the family Christmas celebrations and steadfastness, from David and Kirsten Rawson.

I am from the outgoing and the debonair.

From “you can do anything” and “you’re capable of more than you think.”

I am from believers. Those who seek the truth.

I’m from the city of Lansing and the land of the Union Jack, the family meals on Sunday and the leftovers after certain holidays.

From the family dinners overlooking The Straits of Mackinac, the wonderful food, and the suave company.

I am from the memories contained in the family photo albums and scrapbooks.
