Question/topic: How has homelessness evolved in Salt Lake City the last 50 years? Who were the homeless in 1967? How did they become homeless and how and what happened to create an extraordinary growing number of homeless men, women and children now?

I had a hard time finding information on EBSCO but I did find one article that had useful information. It explained the most recent update of homelessness in Salt Lake City. It explained the decrease in homelessness but the increase in chronic homelessness.

CHRONICALLY HOMELESS DEFINITION: A person who is ”chronically homeless” is an unaccompanied homeless. individual with a disabling condition. -who has either been continuously homeless for a year or more, -OR has had at least four (4) episodes of homelessness in the past three (3) years.
