The technique I chose is one that i will stick with because Music to me is calming, when I am listening to music i feel relaxed and carefree.I will find it enjoyable because I LOVE music, Music has been making me feel better for years.Yes i can fit music in my daily life, there is always time for music. It would fit the time i get home from school or right when school is over. The benefits of the technique I chose are that it is keeping me relaxed and it makes me feel happy, especially when the songs i love come on.

An article i read talks about music and how it is well for stress and helps slow down your heartbeat when you are nervous or when you’ve had a long day at work or at school. A quote from that article was “Listening to music can have a tremendously relaxing effect on our minds and bodies, especially slow, quiet classical music. This type of music can have a beneficial effect on our physiological functions, slowing the pulse and heart rate, lowering blood pressure, and decreasing the levels of stress hormones.” to me this is really true because i have been through it and i know that many others have too.

Jane, I personally use music as an escape from everyone. It works on days when I am sad or just in the mood to listen to music. My favorite genre is rap and pop. I like to listen to music before sports events, for example I had a track meet this passed Wednesday and I was listening to music the whole time. In a weird way it gave me a certain energy to do better.

    Hello Juray,

I agree with you that music helps me relax and makes me focus on my work or whatever I am doing. It’s helpful to have music distract me from the stress from what ever I’m doing. I’m not musically talented so listening to someone else be able to sing or make music that I like makes me feel happy. i know its weird but i like it.

    Dear Juray

I am happy by what you said, about music bringing stress relief, with your non-fiction documentary about, “Music the stress reliever,” because I always like to listen to music and it does calm me and makes me do my homework faster.

One sentence I agree to is: “ tremendously relaxing effect on our minds and bodies, especially slow, quiet classical music” I think this is quote stands out because all classical music does relieve stress in the mind in which people can live a better life with less stress than the average person by listening to classical music.

Another sentence that I agreed was: “I LOVE music” This stood out for me becaue music is a great thing and really it should be part of everyone’s life because of its benefits of stress relief and lower blood pressure.

I don’t absolutely agree with you that not all music is calming or relaxing. One reason I say this is rock music or hip hop have up beat music in which can distract your mind and you can’t do the activities you need. Another reason I disagree with you is many people have different opinions but sure you most people may like classical music because it’s a stress reliever but not all people agree so some people won’t agree.

Thanks for your writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next, because I like the opinion you have based here in your informative writing piece, I would like to see something more of the topic what relieves stress and pain in the world.

    Dear Juray,
I am happy with your post, “Music the Stress Reliever,”, because I understand where you are coming from. I feel the same way about many of your points and also listen to music when stressed. One sentence you wrote that stands out for me is, “The benefits of the technique I chose are that it is keeping me relaxed and it makes me feel happy, especially when the songs i love come on.”. I think this is interesting, because when I am stressed, the feeling of relaxation often comes from music. Another sentence that I enjoyed was “I will find it enjoyable because I LOVE music”, because I feel the same way. This stood out to me because, Regardless of whether I am feeling stressed or not I am constantly listening to music. Your poem reminds me of the time that I was at my first soccer champions and was put in for the second half. I was extremely nervous and then my coach played my favorite song. I became extremely motivated that I began scoring the goals and we won the game. Thanks for your writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next, because there is so much I can learn from this. You also relate to me on many of your points.

    Dear Juray,

I am happy and content about your post “Music the stress reliever,” because I never realized that listening to music could become so calming. I was also surprised by how much stress could be relieved by listening to music. It was interesting how music could relieve all the stress and worries you receive everywhere you go.

One sentence you wrote that stands out for me is: “This type of music can have a beneficial effect on our physiological functions, slowing the pulse and heart rate, lowering blood pressure, and decreasing the levels of stress hormones.” I think this is interesting because I never thought that music could help so much not only throughout our minds, but also in our bodies. I was so surprised to hear that music could lower blood pressure and slow your heart rate and even pulse.

Another sentence that was interesting was “Listening to music can have a tremendously relaxing effect on our minds and bodies, especially slow, quiet classical music.” This stood out for me because although I find myself listening to rock music at times, I often find that listening to soft, classical music is more calming. I find myself finding peace when I listen to classical music, unlike rock music, or something loud.

Your post reminds me of something that happened to me. One time, I was up early in the morning studying for a humanities test at school that day. I really couldn’t focus, because all that I could really think about was going back to bed. I hadn’t done much studying, so I knew I needed to find some way to make myself focus. So, I decided to try listening to music, and once I did, it really helped me be a bit more relieved, less stressed, and helped me focus much more.

Thanks for your writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next, because what you wrote about music was interesting for me, and I can relate a lot to what you wrote. Your writing was very thoughtful, and I learned a lot of surprising new things I never knew before.

    Dear Juray
I am satisfied with your post “Music the stress reliever” because I agree with your claim. I also like how we can all relate our own experiences with music.
One sentence you wrote that stands out for me is: “An article i read talks about music and how it is well for stress and helps slow down your heartbeat when you are nervous or when you’ve had a long day at work or at school.” I think this is important because most people that listen to music so that they can relax, which is displayed in this sentence.
Another sentence that I enjoyed was “This type of music can have a beneficial effect on our physiological functions, slowing the pulse and heart rate, lowering blood pressure, and decreasing the levels of stress hormones.” to me this is really true because i have been through it and i know that many others have too.” This sentence stood out to me because it builds on the previous point made and includes factual evidence to support it.
I don’t completely agree with you that music is calming because I cannot focus on reading a book when I play music. Also, studying while playing music doesn’t work either.
Thanks for your writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next, because you supported your claim with factual evidence, and was to the point. I also liked how you included some personal experiences with the topic because we could now compare our experiences with yours

    Dear Juray:
I am content with your post, “Music the Stress Reliever” because I agree with each and every thought and opinion mentioned in this post. I enjoy listening to music as much as you do. I had experience listening to music and doing homework. It feels amazing because it takes your mind off of the stress even if it is for a minute.

One sentence you wrote that stands out for me is: “The benefits of the technique I chose are that it is keeping me relaxed and it makes me feel happy, especially when the songs i love come on.” I think this is satisfying because I feel the same way. Music is not my first priority, but when it comes to listening and completing assignments at same time, I am up for it. Music is a form of relaxing and I enjoy it as well.

Another sentence that I admired was: “ This type of music can have a beneficial effect on our physiological functions, slowing the pulse and heart rate, lowering blood pressure, and decreasing the levels of stress hormones.” This stood out for me because it helps show how music is not only beneficial in mental ways, but also in physical ways.

I do completely agree with you that music helps students relax and get their assignments done. One reason I say this is because I believe that music is not a distraction, as many others believe it is. Another reason I agree with you is because I have personal experience. There was a moment when I was so stressed about all the homework assignments I had and there was a test the day after the current day. I wanted to finish all homework AND have time to study for my test, since is it 60%. I made a choice to listen to music and do homework. this helped me finish all my homework before I even knew it. It also helped me study or test with more time I thought I would have.

Thanks for your writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next, because your writing techniques is clear and it is straight to point. I can relate it several ways, as well.

    Dear Juray,

I am happy with your post, “Music the Stress Reliever,” because it shows how helpful music can be, especially with the amount of stress, students are given when handling school objectives, extracurricular activities, and chores. I actually frequently listen to music to help relieve stress so that I am able to become focused again.

One sentence you wrote that stands out for me is “An article i read talks about music and how it is well for stress and helps slow down your heartbeat when you are nervous or when you’ve had a long day at work or at school.” I think this is interesting because it demonstrates how music helps people handle the stress that overcomes a person in their everyday life. It shows that music helps calm the mind and lets it come back to a focused position where it is able to feel calm and relaxed.

Another sentence that I liked was: “The benefits of the technique I chose are that it is keeping me relaxed and it makes me feel happy, especially when the songs I love come on.” This stood out for me because it shows that when a person enjoys something, it becomes a way to calm them and relieve them from stress and anger. It also illustrates that music has many benefits to a person’s life.

I agree with you that music is a way to help someone get rid of stress. One reason I say this is because I listen to music whenever I can so that I am able to get rid of stress and help myself focus on what I need to do. Another reason I agree with you is that if someone enjoys a certain song, or piece of music, it makes them feel good when they listen to it.

Thanks for your writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next, because of how interesting and descriptive your writing is. Posts like these, connect to my life and help me handle things in my daily life.

    Dear Juray,

I am happy with your post, “Music the stress reliever,” because it is true for me too; I also feel calm and relaxed when listening to music. Without music, I feel slightly more stressed about life. One sentence you wrote that stands out for me is: “An article i read talks about music and how it is well for stress and helps slow down your heartbeat when you are nervous or when you’ve had a long day at work or at school.” Another sentence that I liked was: “The benefits of the technique I chose are that it is keeping me relaxed and it makes me feel happy, especially when the songs i love come on.” This stood out for me because I feel the same way with music. Music keeps me relaxed and happy. Without music, I am not as happy. I do greatly agree with you that music is great. One reason I say this is that I love music. Another reason I agree with you is that without music, life would be a dull place. Thanks for your writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next, because your love for music inspires me to read more about your opinion in this matter. Your opinion of music is relatable and I feel understood reading this post.

    Dear Juray:

I actually feel happy after reading your post, “Music the stress reliever”, because after reading your post about the stress of school I found it interesting that you found something that can help you, and many other people, calm down.

One sentence you wrote that stands out for me is: “I will find it enjoyable because I LOVE music, Music has been making me feel better for years.” I think this is relatable because I also listen to music while doing homework and although the rate of my work is much slower, I do end up finishing calmly and not still stressed about what is happening later.

Another sentence that I read was: “Listening to music can have a tremendously relaxing effect on our minds and bodies, especially slow, quiet classical music.” This stood out to me because although it isn’t your own words this point is true because classical music can help calm people down. I find myself listening to songs like that and not something like a rock song which wouldn’t help as much.

Your post reminds me of something that happened to me. One time while studying for my science test I tried to study in complete silence believing it would help me learn the information faster. That didn’t work, i ended up getting really angry for some reason actually. Instead I decided to put on some of my favorite songs and that helped me so much. I was able to memorize more information and got a pretty decent score on the test.

Thanks for your writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next, because after reading a few of your articles I can tell you write a lot about school and struggles which I have so it makes me feel better that there is people like me that share the same struggles.

It also very great to know that it actually affects your level of stress and It can really help you do things. Music is a big influence in my life and now to know how much it really helps and the science behind it all, really makes me love music even more.

I agree with your thoughts on music as a stress reliever and I am glad that you chose to include that classical music relives stress “Listening to music can have a tremendously relaxing effect on our minds and bodies, especially slow, quiet classical music.” This was significant to me because loud upbeat fast music can give me a migraine and I cant focus when I am listening to pop and upbeat music. “The benefits of the technique I chose are that it is keeping me relaxed and it makes me feel happy, especially when the songs i love come on.” This quote reminds me of how when a song I know comes on it makes me smile and I think for most people including myself, music allows people to forget their worries.
Previously I went to a yoga studio and outside in the waiting area there was soft zen type of music playing that really calmed my stress and even though its not usually the type of music I listen to I became really relaxed. Thank you for writing, I look forward to learning about music from you and from other people . Learning about how music relives stress gave me more memories of what music can do for me and my mind.

I find that music often helps me focus. The only thing isis i listen to music with lyrics, i find myself speaking the words in tune with the song as well. It has been studied and shown that music without lyrics like jazz or classical help people focus more because the distraction of the words isn’t there.
