When researching more information for my research paper I found a few articles of interest. One being “Likely and unlikely stories: conspiracy theories in an age of propaganda” that talks about why people believe in them during this day in age. It said that people generally lean towards a theory now because it can either pick up traction or gain credible for an alternative source. Other ways they have become popular in today’s society is because of outside influences that have persuaded citizens or have been integrated into everyday believe.
Another source why people think only crazy people or non educated can believe in an idea. But many people who are educated believe in the theories that have been cited as ludicrous in today’s reality. So when it comes who believes in it it could be whoever is persuaded to think that this is who it really happened and not by what we are given in sources.
