DRUGS ARE USED FOR MEDICINAL PURPOSES!!!

DRUGS are bad right? If you use them too much you become addicted to them. If you use them too much they can hurt you. You can overdose on them. That’s everyone’s claim, however, drugs can be used for medical purposes as well and have benefits to help people reduce sickness and pain.

Now you may wonder how Drugs are used for medical purposes? I’ll tell you that drugs like marijuana is a prescription drug that will relieve stress and relieve pain in the back, knees, shoulders, neck etc… here are some other drugs that treat Illnesses and are used for medical purposes.

  • LSD(Lysergic acid diethylamide): Cures Addiction, Treats Depression and Stops Cluster Headaches. …
  • Psychedelic Mushrooms: Treat Cluster Headaches and OCD. …
  • Ecstasy: Reduces Anxiety, Eases Parkinson’s Symptoms and Treats PTSD. … (also taken as a pil)
  • Cocaine And The Coca Plant: A Topical Anesthetic, Laxative, and Motion Sickness Medicine. Cocaine is taken into the body by the nose (sniffing through the nose).
  • Xanax: is used to treat anxiety and panic disorders it’s in the class of medications called benzodiazepines (brain and nerves) it makes you calm and collected and is taken by a pill. people on the other hand are very against drugs because they say they are bad they will kill u faster they are addicting and things like that but some of that is true drugs can get addicting because people over use them people don’t use them correctly or in a correct way people overdose on them because they want to use more to let all the pain out like they overdose on marijuana because they have back pain or some type of pain and they want all that pain to go away and they overdose and bad things happen. in conclusion i believe that drugs are good and they help you in many ways i think that the world today without drugs would be much different and much more worse.

    Hi Jose,
Your drugs are good, drugs have benefits post is a controversial topic and I enjoyed reading it. It is interesting that you explained the reasons why drugs may hurt people when people overdose on them and you also gave detailed information on the different drugs and their medicinal benefits. I did not know that these drugs can treat all these different ailments. In my experience, I have known people that had overused drugs and found themselves unable to control their drug intake. Consequently, they had over-dosage and had ended in the hospital.Another person that I know recently lost his job and the custody of her daughter because of drug abuse.
I think that there are other ways to be able to cope with pain such as breathing exercises, yoga or meditation. Also, if people absolutely have to take drugs for medical reasons they should do it under a doctor’s supervision. Overall, I learned new information by reading your post.

      Dear Carmen,
I am happily agreeing with you about my post Drugs are good, Drugs have benefits because i did talk about how drugs are bad in current ways and how people overdose on drugs. I’m sorry to hear that people you know overdosed on drugs but this happens all around the world because of society making them believe that its “cool” or “fun” but in reality the people who use it for medical purposes are the ones that are actually getting something from it. additionally i would like to know more about any experiences you know or had about drugs. thank you

    Dear Jose :
I am interested about your post, “Drugs are good, Drugs have benefits!!!,” because you’re not the only one who thinks that way. I feel that for many people it’s useful and beneficial to them but on the other hand I feel some people use it in the wrong way also sometimes for dirty money. One sentence you wrote that stands out for me is: “that drugs like marijuana is a prescription drug that will relieve stress and relieve pain in the back, knees, shoulders, neck etc…” I think this is right because it does relieve stress and pain but again not all people use drugs as medicine to help them get better. Another sentence that was true was: “If you use them too much you become addicted to them. If you use them too much they can hurt you. You can overdose on them..” This stood out for me because yes you do get addicted after multiple use of the drugs but at the end of the day drugs aren’t always used for good. Your post reminds me of something that happened to me. One time i was with my friends just talking about school and graduation and many of my friends are struggling with school which puts a ton of pressure on their shoulders. So after we finished talking they brought up the idea that we should all go do drugs and just chill due to just stress off of school. This explains how people who don’t really need it as bad as they do but it helps relieve stress for a couple hours. Thanks for your writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next, because I would like to know more about what others might think.

    Dear,Jose V
I think your article is good. A sentence that standed out to me was “If you use them too much you become addicted to them. If you use them too much they can hurt you. You can overdose on them.” This is outstanding to me because you’re giving a reason/evidence on why drugs could be bad. Another sentence that I think is very outstanding is “That’s everyone’s claim, however, drugs can be used for medical purposes as well and have benefits to help people reduce sickness and pain.” Its outstanding because It’s also a reason but a reason on why drugs are good and also used for. Thanks for your writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next.
