The project is to create an informational website for prospective students coming to the Baccalaureate School of Global Education. This project tests our skills to create a website with multiple webpages using html and css from what we have learned in technology class. The requirements of the project include that the website must contain a homepage and at least four other pages. The homepage must have links to all the other pages, and must contain general information about the school. Also the website must contain images of the school, have a link to the official BSGE site, have a section on student clubs, have a section about the IB Diploma Program, have a section on student schedules, including period times, for at least two grades,

have a consistent design throughout that is aesthetically pleasing, have a section on the courses offered, have information about the school’s teachers, have a navigation bar on each page, and have information about how each grade experiences the school.

Here is a link to the home page of my project: http://tech.bsge.org/students/21wangp/unit2project/home.html

I created my project by first making a webpage design.

Then I divided the project into parts and worked on a part of the project everyday by making a project plan:

HW:continue Researching and add content

10/26
CW: Keep adding content
HW: Finish adding content/researching

10/27
CW:
Build pages with code
HW:
Continue building pages with code

10/28

HW: Edit content and fix things, debug

11/8
CW: Continue to edit content and fix things, debug
HW: Test one final time and upload to server

This is the html code for my home page:

background-color: green;
}

li a {
display: block;
color: #DAA520;
padding: 8px 16px;
text-decoration: none;
}

/* Change the link color on hover */
li a:hover {
background-color: #20B2AA;
color: #7FFF00;
}
