Around the U.S there has been lots of clown attacks or just clowns acting creepy in the following states Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, Mississippi, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.

Chances are you live in one of these states I read an article on CNN that explains why people are scared of these clowns. They say One reason is they “fun, playful and reminiscent of childhood” but as far back as the 16th century, Shakespearian jesters were often portrayed as evil. “Clowns hide behind masks, preventing us from seeing what they are feeling, thinking or even guessing their true emotions.” says the article, and don’t forget how many movies there are with evil clowns.

There is something really scary about clowns, especially murdering clouds. I think it is just such a contradiction; happy and malicious that just creates something super scary.
